Clay James & Historically Black Since Unveil ‘Sound Lynk Stage’ Line-Up During SXSW Week, Featuring: Arsonal, Bali Baby, PBE Pluto, Robyn Hood, PG RA, Yung Donn, Alyx Ransom, 2K Jesse, & More

Playas Club Music Group’s CEO Clay James is no stranger to Austin, Texas and the culture of SXSW. Back in 2015, Clay was discovered by some associates of Snoop Dogg while he was performing during SXSW on the ‘Black Auerbach & Friends’ Stage. This resulted in Clay James signing his first record deal with Snoop’s Doggystyle Records imprint. Nowadays, Clay has been building up his own roster at Playas Club Music Group which consists of Charlise J, Alyx Ransom, Sincerely Dad, Respekk, Young Bo, King Elway, and his business partner and co-founder Pimp Sweet Tooth. On top of running his label Clay James has also been opening up Sound Lynk Studios around the Atlanta Metro area with his long time friend and business partner Chad Hampton. Chad and Clay met on the campus of Georgia State University and have been working together ever since. Chad Hampton is also the Chief Operations Officer at Playas Club Music Group. Both of these young men were notable figures during their era at GSU, with Chad being a member of Omega Psi Phi, and Clay being a member of Kappa Alpha Psi. Their Divine 9 association is what prompted them to partner with Historically Black Since on the Sound Lynk Stage during SXSW week in Austin, Texas. Historically Black Since is a media platform founded in 2017 dedicated to the culture of HBCUs and Black Greek Lettered Organizations. Sound Lynk Studios and Historically Black Since recently ran a competition in which HBCU students and Black Greek Lettered Organization members were able to perform in an IG LIVE talent show. The winner of the talent show was 2K Jesse, a student from Lincoln University Of Missouri. He is receiving a performance slot on The Sound Lynk Stage during SXSW Week at Tellers Austin on Thursday March 13th 8pm-2am Hosted by E.Cole with DJ Iceberg & DJ Trac on the 1s and 2s.

The song "GOD Got A Plan" speaks to the person who's sleepwalking throughout life. This song speaks life to the soul of the that person with buried ambition. This song describes the seasons we go through in life. It might appear that God is not hearing us, or we have reached our plateau in life. However, we have to trust and believe that the Creator has a plan already written out for our life before we came into existence. We only have faith so that it can be tested, Sometimes we have to simply wait on God's timing.


Moreover, waiting on God does not mean that we wait idly. We have to actively wait. We must remain busy working with what God have already blessed us with. Some people feel that results can't be obtained because of lack of resources. Sometimes if you have a little resources to start with, that is all you will need. Faith without works is dead. God will multiply your harvest at the right time if you stay the course. Onaje' chose to use his blood sibling Jonah aka MC Nut as the star of the video and model for the album cover. Jonah currently is fighting off an unhealthy addiction in real life. However, in the video he is successful and is made free. Dear reader please include Jonah in your prayer that his addiction chains be broken (just as in the video). Hopefully the art can imitate life in this case.


"GOD Got A Plan" is intended to motivate and encourage. Onaje' will continue to drop fire music with a message. Onaje' has no intents on retiring. Onaje' will use his every God given breath to create and leave an impact on this world.
